Julie Chan, Associate Broker

Julie Chan brings to Innvest Hotel Brokers an extensive background in operations, sales and marketing, and repositioning experience of deluxe independent hotels worldwide. She began her career with the historic Warwick Hotel in New York. In recognition of her accomplishments, she was promoted to National Director of Sales and Marketing for Warwick International Hotels. She was later recruited by The Boutique Hotel Group to develop and increase access to key revenue generators for their flagship hotel, the historic and boutique Hotel Wales in a deluxe niche market of New York.

Julie has experience with a diverse array of independent hotels and markets. She personally serviced over 100 Fortune 500 companies and overseas conglomerates. Her success is attributed to effectively matching clients with appropriate hotels in the portfolio, creating and maintaining relationships, and exceeding client expectations. Some significant accomplishments include:

• Assisting in the repositioning of the Warwick New York resulting in a 100% increase of ADR in the highly concentrated and competitive midtown market for the company's flagship U.S. property.
• Guided owners with analyzing channels of distributions to insure maximum yield.
• Advised owners with the re-evaluation of the chain's central reservations service, which included cost-saving analysis.
• Participated in the management take-over of an affiliated deluxe corporate hotel in downtown San Jose, Costa Rica for Warwick International Hotels.

Outside of the office, Julie is very involved with the real-estate community with her membership in New York University's Real Estate Institute Alumni Association, Manhattan Real Estate Network, and Young Real Estate Professionals. She also serves as Vice President of the alumni association of the prestigious Townsend Harris High School.

Julie is a Cum Laude graduate of New York University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management, and Master of Science in Real Estate with a Finance concentration.
